Thanks for everyone who participated in my Michael Chang & Maya Lin kids shirt fundraiser/sale, we were able to sell 83 shirts and also received $170 in donations on top of that which translated to being able to donate $1,761.94 to the Asian American Pacific Islander Civil Engagement Fund !  To calculate the donation amount I took the money from shirts plus donations and deducted the costs of shipping and cost of shirts. I paid for packing materials and shirt making supplies myself. (THANKS FOR SENDING ME PICS WITH YOUR KIDDOS IN SHIRTS!!! I was not prepared for the cuteness!) This fundraiser got way way bigger than I was expecting. Not Maddiecab big , but still a lot for me! It meant I had to process all this information! Friends and strangers were trusting me with large sums of money! It meant I had to print 83 shirts in my living room! It had been a long time since I had printed that many shirts. Hello! I am taking orders for these kids shirts until Thursday, April 1st with the hopes of raising some money for the AAPI Civic Engagement Fund ( https://aapifund.org ) . I can't summarize their purpose better than they do with their mission statement: "The AAPI Civic Engagement Fund believes that Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders must be an integral part of strengthening America’s democracy, improving the quality of life for all, and creating vibrant multiracial communities." Shirts are $25 which includes shipping in the United States. They are hand printed by myself with water based inks on cotton Rabbit Skins heather gray t-shirts. Current sizes are:  Kids 2, 3, 4, 5/6. (Pictured above are size 4) on cotton Rabbit Skins gray t-shirts Youth XS, S, M, L, XL on cotton Gildan Ultra gray t-shirts 100% of the profits will be donated.
